Angry Cougar-like Animal Tears Democratic Party to Pieces

News Report: PUMA attacks are on the rise.
PUMA’s are very dangerous creatures, inhabiting every state and every major city. These predators congregate wherever sore losers are found, feasting on the blood of the ill-informed and the apathetic. PUMA’s are vicious hunters, usually attacking from behind or underneath their prospective prey. They are known to be afraid of 47-year-old African-American men, changing the status quo in Washington, blue dresses, and the word “hope.” Their demeanor is characterized by bitterness and frenzy, and they have been known to attack without provocation. If approached by a PUMA, mention the words “Iraq,” “winning fair and square,” and/or “maybe in 2012″ and they will, according to rumor and latest reports, burst into flames and be reborn again from the ashes of their vindictiveness and callousness.
The PUMA movement (PUMA = Party Unity My A**) has been a force to be reckoned with throughout both the Democratic primary and now pre-convention season, and still the question lingers: Why can’t Hillary supporters just admit that their candidate lost, and try to mend the disastrous Democratic Party before the general election?
I’m sure that this post will add fuel to the flames of the debate, but really folks - it’s time. The Democratic Party has been split for over a year now between the Hillaricans and the ObamaNation, and the coming convention will not help ease the tensions.
Of course, to make her supporters feel better, Hillary also will have a roll call at the convention, so that the PUMA roar…I mean, the voices of her supporters can be heard, as if the Democratic National Committee whined and agreed when Hillary supporters called “do-over’s, and no backsies!” Oh, and lest we forget, the Obama campaign is helping to cut down her massive campaign debt - but he’s apparently still a horrible choice, what with his campaign run on $25 donations and his big smile….
It seems that the Obama camp is looking to shake hands, play nice in the sandbox, and put a Band-aid over the wounds left in the party by divisive, vindictive PUMA’s and their attack style of politics that polls have shown America is sick of. Even in Pennsylvania, a state known for its strong Clinton support, primary exit polls showed that 2 out of 3 voters said that she attacked Obama unfairly. And yet the PUMA rage lives on.
Alright, their candidate isn’t in the spotlight anymore - but from a party standpoint, this is the perfect time to act together! Polls across the board show distrust in the Republican Party, the failings of the current administration, and the desire to change the direction of the country. The party has chosen, and Hillary herself has endorsed, a promising candidate ready to step up to the challenge. And still, the PUMA movement bitterly stands, stomping an icy foot at poll results, shouting “The Hill Will Rise Again!” and proving to the nation that the embarrassment of a few can and will undermine the best interests of all.
Of course, the main debate returns to Obama, in his choice for his vice presidential nominee. The veep spot, as I call it, will need to be someone who can help unite the party, strengthen Obama’s message, and provide clear-headed advice and strong-willed support to policies in the best interest of the country. By now, you all know that the choice is wide-open, and that the announcement will be coming soon - but for the PUMA’s out there, this announcement means their vote.
Many PUMA’s are saying that if Hillary does not win by her roll call (the aforementioned “do-overs”), and is not picked to play second fiddle (which Hillary will never play, even if she is given the role), they will either not vote, or vote McCain - that’s right, vote against their best interests, What’s The Matter with Kansas -style and hope…I mean, pray, the next four years don’t bring our country further into war, poverty, economic trouble, diplomatic chaos, political polarization and disaster.
What a sad state of affairs, to watch your country sinking and your countrymen calling for help, and punching a hole in your life raft just because you want a woman to be the one asking you to row.
We’ll find out soon enough if the PUMA’s will be happy or not, but rest assured that the damage is already done to the party and the country, and the next four years - regardless of who is elected - will be spent licking the wounds inflicted by 18 million sore losers of the Democratic process.
Go ahead PUMAs, stay home or vote for Mac. Then kiss your sons and daughters goodbye because they will be shipped off to Iraq, or Iran, or Russia, or anywhere else tough guy Mccain thinks is needed. This is about the future of our country, it’s not about you. Get over it.
1. Contrary to what Obamabots say …
Obama and Hillary were in a dead heat,
when the DNC pressured Hillary into not
only conceding, but campaigning for Obama.
2. Obama is once again in a dead heat, but now
with McCain, even though Obamabots act like
Obama has already won (like they did in the
primaries against Hillary). So, this means that
half of the Democrats, and all the Republicans
(3/4 of America) dIdn’t want Obama. Plus, he
didn’t even win the popular vote, and refused a
revote in Michigan and Florida.
3. Obama has the thinnest resume in politics, and
he won state legislature and Senator by
disqualifications of his opponents, not by earned
experience, or votes.
4. Obama’s one claim to fame is being a community
organizer, where he boasts of registering voters.
Then he took their votes away from them, by
disqualifying his opponents on technicalities, prior
to the election.
5. Obama’s mentor of 20 years, was an anti-American
racist … not to mention other unsavory associations.
6. Obama is simply buying the election, since he’s
good at fund raising … hardly a qualification to be
President of the United States.
7. The media never vetted Obama, and they are
giving him a free ride, plus more than twice the
print and air time as McCain, as they did against
Hillary.
8. 90% of blacks are voting for Obama, because he is
black, while the campaign gained ground by
accusing most opponents of racism.
9. Obamabots were, and are extremely nasty and sarcastic
towards Hillary supporters, as well as McCain supporters.
10. Pumas should be applauded for putting country before party …
especially a party that did not represent them, and a party
which highjacked the nomination for Obama.
11. Obama added insult to injury, when he didn’t even consider
Hillary for V.P. … nor did he even call her … even though she
got 18 million votes in the primary.
12. Obama and the DNC are now holding a gun to the heads of
Hillary and Bill Clinton, giving them an ultimatum … either support
Obama, or kiss your future in the DNC and politics goodbye.
1)Fundraising is an essential part of the election process, and Hillary was second in fundraising among all presidential candidates, from both parties…but she also put her own money into the campaign. Does this mean she, too, tried buying the election?
2) As far as shady associations, please remember that Hillary is also associated with Tony Rezko, and other shady characters. The church Obama attended is well-known for being the place to be if you are an up-and-coming politician in Illinois. If all politicians were held to the confines of their religious beliefs, Bill would have some trouble - “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
3) You mentioned taking votes away from voters, but since Michigan and Florida knew the rules and chose to act against them, the penalty of half-votes is not unjustified. Of course, since they have since had their full voting rights at the convention restored, it’s a moot point.
4)Obama cannot get twice the air and print time, legally speaking. Networks must show equal coverage of candidates
5)Calling Obama supporters nasty is again a hasty generalization - of course, it may seem nasty to a PUMA when they air the problems, inconsistancies, and grievances with Hillary and her campaign.
6) Actually, Obama won twice as many states as Hillary - delegates are picked by popular vote…another inconsistancy in your argument.
Those are the few I have the patience to retort - simple logic shows that PUMA’s are hurting the party and the country more than helping it…but I do admire your candid and zealous support of the person you feel to be the best candidate
Please, if you are going to make an argument for Hillary, Obama, or any candidate, make sure you check out the facts first.
We do appreciate all views and ideas, and we thank you for your support of We The People Politics.
